About the Contest
This is a fanart contest for the original manga series ALMIER . The series is available for free on our website as well as other webcomic and manga sites such as Batoto, smackjeeves, tapastic, e.t.c. The submission for the contests should be in the form of Posters either landscape or portrait and should be using the characters from the series. The winning pieces will be treated as commissions, and you can use any visual medium of your choice, traditional, digital, paintings, sculptures e.t.c
Prizes
The stacks of prizes are as follows:
1st place: $150 US 2nd Place: $75 US 3rd Place: 12 month core membership - $50 US 4th place: 6 month core membership - $30 US 5th place: 1600 points - $20 US Remaining 5 runner ups: 1 month core membership - $5 US How to Enter
1.) First draw/make a New Year's (2016) themed artwork using any of the characters from the Almier series. You can use just one character or multiple characters. To find out more about the characters and how they relate to each other you can read the manga.

2.) Join & watch the group
, it is necessary if you wish to upload your art and receive updates about the contest.3.) Make sure to put this logo
somewhere on your submission. You might choose to re-size the logo or reduce the opacity, this is perfectly fine as long as the logo is recognizable. 4.) Finally upload your submission both to your personal DA gallery and to the Fanart folder of the group's gallery.
Deadline
The deadline for the submissions is on 15th of January 2016 at (GMT 24:00).

Can I participate?
Yes you can, the contest is open to anyone.
How many characters do I have to use?
You can use as many or as little as you like. But you must use at least one.
Does it have to be in colour?
Nope
Can the submission be a collaboration?
Yes it can. But if you win, you’ll be sharing the prize.
How many drawings can I submit?
The maximum number of submissions per user is 2.
Can I put my OC in it?
No, this is strictly using the characters from ALMIER. Although animals are allowed.
Can I put other existing characters in it like Goku, Naruto, Luffy e.t.c?
Once again no, as it is strictly an ALMIER fanart contest. So we are sticking to the characters from the series.
Can I make a traditional drawing instead of a digital?
Yes you can. You can make any type of image as long as it includes the characters from the series.
Can I change their clothes?
Yes, that is perfectly fine. Do as you see fit with the garments.
Can I do a Yaoi/Yuri Picture?
No. Sorry but we want the material submitted to be appropriate for an audience of all ages and taste.
Can it be sexy?
Hmm yeah, as long as it isn’t too much (so if it’s hentai or ecchi then it won’t be accepted). If you could give a sexy vibe to it but in a way that still allows it to be appropriate for an audience of all ages, then by all means go ahead.
Can the vibe/atmosphere be romantic?
Yes, as long as you use the characters from the series you can do pretty much anything.
If I am one of the winners, can I convert my cash prizes to the points/subscription equivalent and vice versa?
Yes! You will be given a choice; once you pick one then it cannot be changed again.

Hey Guys!
Lycatel here, I really really wanted to let you all know that THE CHAMPION OF DEMA GRAPHIC NOVEL HAS OFFICIALLY LANDED. That’s right my awesome Afrocentric comic book about a young thief’s sudden twist of fate is finally ready to be enjoyed by the masses. :D
The stand-alone graphic novel is 90 pages long but the ebook is double that amount because there are two versions in it. There’s the pure English version then there’s also the English & Pidgin (broken English) version.

As some of you know, I've been working on a one-shot comic project for a while now called Champion of Dema. It's an Afrocentric, fantasy graphic novel about a reluctant hero who is constantly plagued by the citizens of his village (Dema) to be their Champion.

Hey guys
It's been a while since I've been on here and my DA account has been updated, if you've been wondering what I've been doing and you haven't liked the facebook page or followed us on twitter then this update is for you.
